COMMITTEE REPORTS
1. Architectural Review
One application for a storm door was approved. Another application for an 8 foot addition is close to completion.
Application forms can be picked up in the box in front of 1556 Stoney Creek Dr. Please submit ARC applications at least 30 days before you plan to do the requested work on your property. Turn in completed applications to Don Berard at 452 Hidden Ridge Rd.
Don reported a need for a new architectural review committee member soon. If interested please call Don Berard at 923-0022.
2.Grounds and Maintenance -
All Season's owned by Harold Ragland from Trevillians has been rehired to do common area maintenance for the coming year.
VDOT was contacted and removed the sand build up on our roads. VDOT was also consulted about our continuing concerns with speeding in the subdivision. Rumble strips installation is being investigated as an option though VDOT recommends against installation due to the noise it creates.
The presence of dog waste in common areas and on private lots continues to be a major concern. The idea of installing anchored trash receptacles along with signage reminding owners to clean up after their pets is being investigated. Joe Gottlieb will follow up with beginning this program and engaging the services of a trash service for regular pick up of waste. It was decided to target the area along Arrowood first.
3.Pond
Sally provided an overview of recent issues concerning the pond including overgrowth of plants, silt build-up history and the problem with erosion caused by tributary streams. Pond maintenance issues will be covered by the Common Area Reserve Fund.
4. Neighborhood Watch - Sally gave a brief review of the program.
