Board
Meeting Minutes
1. The meeting was called to
order at 7:10 pm. The minutes from the Nov. 26 meeting were
approved.
2. Homeowner
comments: A homeowner expressed concern about the
prevalence of vehicles parked on the streets and difficulty
maneuvering around them. If you, or guests, must park on the road
please pull off as far as possible to allow for the safe passage
of traffic. This is especially important for emergency vehicle
access.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
1. Architectural
Review
- No new applications.
Application forms for architectural changes can be picked
up in the box in front of 1556 Stoney Creek Dr. Please
submit ARC applications at least 30 days before you plan
to do the requested work on your property. Turn in
completed applications to Don Berard at 452 Hidden Ridge
Rd.
2.Grounds and
Maintenance
- All Seasons Lawn Service
has completed trimming the sides of the fire road. The
landscaping area around the entrance sign was trimmed and
mulched.
- The entrance sign light
fixtures were recently vandalized. An electrician
salvaged parts from the two damaged fixtures to make one
fully functional light resulting in satisfactory
illumination. The repair work cost $175.
3. Social
- The first phase of the
pond walking trail has been completed. The trail head is
located at the end of the Whispering Oaks cul-de-sac.
Those interested in trail maintenance and completion of
the second phase of trail please contact David Cooper. A
nice weekend in January will be the next targeted work
date.
4. Website

*A link has been placed on the home page regarding the
Pond Project. Follow that link to see a map of the
walking trails.
- A bulletin board service
will be created through the website. Homeowners may
subscribe free of charge to receive occasional
correspondence via email from the Board and other
subscribing homeowners. Please monitor the website for
news about this upcoming service.
OLD BUSINESS
- MCS entrance sign color
options are accessible on the website. The Board will aim
for consensus on a final color at the next meeting.
- The Boards proposed
covenant revisions are being prepared for distribution to
all homeowners for comments and feedback. Look for this
important survey and explanation of the revision process
in your newspaper box soon. A special meeting for all
homeowners will be held at the Cale School cafeteria on
Wednesday, January 22 starting at 7:30pm to discuss
covenant revisions The Board strongly encourages everyone
to attend.
- A quote is being secured
from a local trash vendor for tiered rate for subdivision
and for the subdivision as a whole.
- The Board approved use of
a welcome card to go to all new MCS homeowners. The card
is specially customized to greet new residents of our
neighborhood.
NEW BUSINESS
- The Board approved the
purchase of two signs identifying the entrances of the
pond walking trail.
NEXT MEETING
- Tuesday, January 28 at
7:15 pm at Joe Gottliebs house, 1480 Stoney Creek
Drive. All homeowners are invited to attend.

*Please observe 25 mph speed limit. ** When walking during
darkness please wear bright clothing with reflectors or lights to
alert motorists of your presence. ***New homeowners...please let
us know youre in our community so we can welcome you to the
neighborhood.
